For over five decades, Rajinikanth has delivered hits and superhits, but it seems like the Superstar may be gearing up to completely step away from acting.
In a recent interview, acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin shared that Rajini will be acting in a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and that it will be his last movie. However, even around the time of the release of his film Annaatthe, in 2021, there were speculations of him retiring from acting after his 170th film.
When we reached out to the Superstar’s spokesperson, he maintained, “Anyone can say anything, it’s their right. Thalaivar is the only person who can take a call, but he hasn’t spoken to anyone in this regard. In fact, he has quite a few commitments lined up. He has completed his portions in Jailer and is currently shooting for Lal Salaam, and he has also agreed to star in a couple more films.”
