Vijay and Ajith's movies 'Varisu' and 'Thunivu' are locked to have a film industry fight this Pongal, and the two movies are delivering on Jan 11. The two movies are made on a gigantic spending plan, and the appointments for both have been warmed up.
Presently, we should take a gander at the 'Varisu' versus' 'Thunivu' conflict, and Vijay's film drives Ajith starrer in the pre-discharge business with 100 crores. As per the exchange report, 'Varisu' dramatic privileges have been sold for Rs 70 crores, Rs 6.5 crores, Rs 8 crores, and Rs 35 crores separately in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and abroad. While the Hindi adaptation has been sold for Rs 34 crore, and the OTT privileges have been sold for Rs 70 crore. The all-out pre-discharge business of 'Varisu' totals around Rs 295 crores.
On the other hand, Ajith's 'Thunivu' has been sold for Rs 60 crores, Rs 2.5 crores, Rs 3.6 crores, and R 4 crore separately in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and abroad. The OTT privileges of the Ajith starrer have been locked for Rs 65 crores, and the film has purportedly procured a sum of Rs 194 crores in the pre-discharge business. Comparingly, 'Varisu' has acquired over Rs 100 crores more than 'Thunivu' in the pre-discharge business, and Vijay wins the second set to attach with Ajith subsequent to losing the trailer fight in the first set.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, 'Varisu' highlighting Vijay will be a close-to-home family show. Then again, H Vinoth's executive 'Thunivu' including Ajith will be a heist thrill ride loaded with activity successions. It will be two unique classes from Ajith and Vijay, and the two movies are set to shake the movies for this Pongal.
